Using the Device

Will the device work over my makeup?
We do not recommend to use the device over your makeup, as the device is most effective on clean skin. Also, makeup will leave dirt and residue inside the machine that can then be transmitted back onto your skin and into your pores in later sessions.

Can I apply cream and/or serum before I use the device?
Creams and serums should be applied after using the device, not before. The skin needs to be clean and dry for the device to be most effective. It is also recommended not to get any moisture inside the device.

Can I apply cream and/or serum after I use the device?
Yes. It is recommended to hydrate your skin after using the device.

How long should I charge the device prior to its first use?
The device should be charged overnight or for 6 uninterrupted hours prior to the first use.

How often should I charge the device?
The device should be charged in between each use to ensure an extended battery life.

Why does the light turn off when I move the device away from my face?
The device operates through a smart sensor, helping to reserve battery when the device is not active. The device will not emit heat if it is not in contact with your skin.

When should the red light be on?
When the device is turned on and in contact with your skin the head of the device will display a red light. The red light is the Infrared LED light therapy.

Is it possible to use the device too much?
Usage varies on skin type, but should not exceed 3 times a week. Ask your sales representative if you are unsure.

Will my device work everywhere in the world?
Yes, the Elevare devices work on 100-240v (rated voltage), so you can use it anywhere in the world, with the appropriate adapter.

Why does the light on the start button turn off while it’s charging?
Once the device is connected to the charger, the red light will turn on for a few minutes. This is how you know the device has been activated. The light will turn off after several minutes and continue to charge. Leave the device in the charger for 6 hours, uninterrupted.

Is LED light therapy safe?
Yes, LED Light Therapy is clinically proven to be safe for all ages and skin types. Photo rejuvenation does not harm the body in any way. The light waves are safe for any skin type.

Does LED light therapy hurt?
No. Unlike other anti-aging treatments, Elevare is painless, gentle, non-invasive and safe, and can be used in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

What are the benefits of LED light therapy?
LED light therapy improves early signs of aging, sun spots, pigmentation and discoloration. LED light therapy is clinically proven to smooth and brighten your skin, eliminate age spots and large pores, and give you radiant, younger looking skin. Additionally, unlike other anti-aging treatments, there is no healing process or down time. You can resume your regular daily activities immediately.

Is it possible to get an allergic reaction to the device?
No. The light is 100% natural. There are no side effects.

Why does my inner ring light look different then the outer ring?

Returns & Exchanges

How do I return or exchange my device?
Devices eligible to be returned for a refund or exchange must be directly handled with the point of sale. In other words from the location from which your original purchase was made. If you are unsure about the return policy, please contact your authorized retailer directly to learn more about their policy. If you purchased your device on our website, click here.

If my device isn’t working how do I get a replacement?
Elevare Skin is proud to offer a warranty on all of our devices. Your device is only eligible for a warranty if it was purchased from an authorized retailer. Learn more about our warranty program or file a warranty claim here.

Can I return my device if I purchased it online?

  • Only Elevare Skin products that were directly purchased from our online store can be returned to us.
  • Elevare Skin products must be returned within 7 business days from the date they were received.
  • Returned items must be shipped back to the U.S.

What is an authorized retailer?

  • Elevare Skin is the sole and exclusive manufacturer and distributor of all Elevare Skin products. They are manufactured by Elevare in an FDA compliant facility, and distributed through authorized retailers only, including our official website, www.elevareskin.com.
